1. How Our Interactive Brief Composer Works
The group brief composer on index.html and contact.html runs entirely inside your local web browser using client-side JavaScript. Text entered into the composer is never transmitted to our servers unless you actively copy it and send it to us via email at [email protected].
2. Information We Collect When You Email Us
When you email our workshop desk, we process your name, email address, organisation name, and any group planning details you choose to share. Under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, our lawful basis for processing this correspondence is legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)) to reply to facilitator queries and share requested outdoor activity blueprints.
3. Protecting Participant Access & Medical Notes
We advise facilitators never to send identifiable medical records of individual workshop participants via email. When planning accessible bench heights or allergy precautions, share only aggregate requirements (for example: "Two wheelchair-accessible 76cm bench stations required; avoid latex gloves").
4. Data Retention & Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade email lists or visitor data. Facilitator email threads are retained for up to 24 months to support follow-up seasonal aftercare queries and are then permanently deleted. Our static web server logs anonymised IP addresses for up to 14 days solely to prevent automated denial-of-service traffic.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to request access to, rectification of, or erasure of any correspondence we hold about you. Contact our Data Protection Lead at [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
